QSU Founders' Fund is available to*:

• QUB graduates from 2025
• QUB Students due to graduate in 2026

Applicants applying for the QSU Founders' Fund must:

• Be running an existing business or social enterprise
• Be able to provide evidence of business viability through both customer research AND initial customer traction
• Clearly communicate their business model and go-to-market strategy
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the risks and challenges facing their business
• Show how any previous QUB Student Enterprise funding has been used and the impact it has had (if applicable)
• Demonstrate clear progress and personal commitment to their venture

*Please Note: 

Only applicants who are legally allowed to start and run a business in the UK are eligible for funding. International applicants on a general Student Visa are not eligible.

Students and graduates can apply as individuals, partnerships, or groups. If applying as a team, a lead applicant must be assigned.

Students who have previously received funding from the SU Enterprise are eligible to apply. Students must provide evidence of successful spend and impact of the previous funding awarded and demonstrate realistic projections based on the further funding required.
