    Applicant Criteria


    Cultivate Small Business aims to strengthen entrepreneurs in food-related industries with the building blocks to be successful business owners. Program participants should represent a business that meets the following criteria:


    ■ Participants should reside in or represent a business located in a low-to-moderate income area (this will be determined by our team).

    ■ Gross/net revenues of $25,000 to $1,000,000 in the most recent full calendar year.

    ■ Minimum of 1 year in operation as the time of application.

    ■ Between 1 and 10 full-time equivalent employees (including the entrepreneur).

    ■ Food-related industries, including retail, processing, technology, manufacturing, and food services.

    Santander’s award-winning Cultivate Small Business helps early-stage entrepreneurs build and sustain businesses in the food industry, with a focus on historically underserved founders. Cultivate is a completely FREE 12 week MBA-style program that provides a customized curriculum, access to industry experts and capital grants.
