Requirements
- Must speak, read and understand English at full professional proficiency
- Be a validly constituted entrepreneurial business pursuant to local regulations (incorporated as a company and/or declared self-employed)
- Be willing to grow and scale your business within the next 12 months
- Be willing to commit to the full program length and participate actively in the program
- Preferred: Annual turnover of approximately €2M (recommended range: €500,000–€5,000,000)
General information
Santander X Training Program | Fostering Growth - Babson College supports small and medium sized companies who are striving to achieve sustainable levels of growth for long-term success. Led by faculty from Babson College, the #1 institution in the world for entrepreneurship education, the program will help entrepreneurial businesses in any industry grow and scale beyond their current operations.
The program is designed to help SMEs:
- Grow your current markets or expand into new markets
- Extend your current product/service line or expand into new categories
- Develop the entrepreneurial leadership skills of your team
Fifty one (51) businesses will be selected to participate in the Introductory Course (13 July to 30 July 2021). In this 3 week online program, SMEs will examine readiness for growth and work on a growth action plan. Participants will attend an opening and closing live virtual session with the program faculty, and will complete self-paced online activities and exercises. Content will include:
- Conduct a personal self- assessment and examine your company's readiness for growth
- Identify your growth challenges
- Assess your business's readiness for growth in terms of Management, Market, Model, Money, Metrics & Momentum
- Network with other participants
At the end of the Introductory Course, each SME will submit a growth plan. Twenty one (21) businesses will be selected and have the opportunity to train in a twelve week online program with Babson College (27 September to 13 December 2021). This 12 week online program will provide the skills needed to develop a growth plan, along with networking with an exclusive cohort of like-minded businesses. Participants will develop and present a final action plan and receive a certificate of participation from Babson College. Content will include:

- Practice Pitching and Presenting Final Action Plan
- Final Presentation
