Esade Training | 0Waste Pre-Accelerator

Esade is launching the 0Waste Pre-Accelerator program and is looking for start-up founders with innovative spirit and interest in developing business ideas that reduce waste and generate a positive impact on the environment.

The 0Waste Pre-accelerator will help social entrepreneurs to bring their sustainable business idea to the next level by building or strengthening their business plan through the application of design thinking methodologies and with the support of mentors experienced in start-up growth, sustainability and social impact creation & management. 

We are looking for 20 early-stage start-ups or start-up ideas that are both economically and environmentally sustainable, are innovative and have a high potentiality of growth and scalability.                                                                                                         

The Pre-Accelerator will start on April 20th and will end with a Demo Day at the end of May. It will consist of 2 modules, one of Circular Economy and one of Business Development, for a total of 23.5 hours between class and mentorship programs. The 0Waste Pre-accelerator project will be held in hybrid mode, with the possibility to go full online if the participants are located outside Barcelona. The best projects will access the 0Waste Acceleration program starting in June.                                         

This program is part of the 'Hub B30, Beyond Circularity' project that aims to overcome the concept of circular economy and move towards a model in which all waste can be transformed into raw material to maximize sustainability. This is a PECT project (Specialization and Territorial Competitiveness Project) financed by the European Union.
