At least one business owner must be a BU graduate (from any year or subject of study)
The start-up must be registered in the UK
To qualify as a start-up, the business must have fewer than 25 employees and revenue of less than £250,000

If you are a BU graduate with a UK-based start-up, find out how our entrepreneurship competition could take your business to the next level.
We have partnered with Santander Universities to give away grants totalling £15,000 to BU alumni. If you studied at BU and have gone on to launch a business which is generating less than £250,000 in revenue and employing fewer than 25 staff, tell us how a one-off grant could help you to grow.
Grant amounts are not fixed (although the fund is designed to support multiple businesses), so make your ask and tell us the difference this money could make for you and your start-up.
Reward
The total grant pot is £15,000. Grant amounts are not fixed, so please tell us how much you need and what the funding will be used for.
The competition seeks to support multiple businesses, so will not award the full £15,000 to one applicant.
