Requirements
The Impulsa tu PYME programme is designed for leaders and executives of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to strengthen their knowledge in business growth, digitalisation, sustainability, and talent management to enhance the development and scalability of their businesses.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a place in the programme, SMEs must meet the following criteria:
- Be a legally registered company in one of the following countries: Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain, United States, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, and Uruguay.
- Be a company executive or manager and at least 18 years old.
- Register on the official platform within the application period.
- Have an annual turnover within the limits set for each country, as specified in the programme's terms and conditions.
The selection process will also consider the quality of the business and the relevance of the programme’s topics to the needs of each SME. For more details, please review the terms and conditions available on the application page.
General information
Santander X, in colaboration with IE University, offers a total of 500 places, divided into two cohorts of 250 participants each, for the SANTANDER X TRAINING | EMPOWER YOUR SME programme. This initiative is designed to enhance business growth, digital transformation, sustainability, and talent management for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The learning pathways, designed by experts from IE, last approximately four weeks, comprising two courses of two weeks each.
Programme Modality
The programme is delivered 100% online, combining:
- 80% asynchronous content, available in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
- 20% live sessions, available in Spanish and English.
Programme Content
The courses cover key topics such as:
- Digital and omnichannel sales as a growth driver
- International expansion for SMEs
- Sustainable strategies for business success
- Internationalisation for SMEs
Learning Pathways
Participants must select one of the following pathways based on their company’s needs:
Pathway 1: Digital and Omnichannel Sales + International Expansion for SMEs
- Certification: International Growth for SMEs
Pathway 2: Digital and Omnichannel Sales + Sustainable Strategies for Success
- Certification: Sustainable Growth for SMEs
Award for Top Participants
The top 15 participants of each cohort will be selected for an Executive Leadership Programme lasting three weeks, where they will develop skills in:
- Self-management
- Team management
- Organisational leadership
The Leadership Programme follows the same structure: asynchronous content available in three languages, with live sessions in Spanish or English.
First Cohort Dates

Second cohort:
Applications open: 23 June – 3 September 2025
Programme duration: 29 September – 24 October 2025

Reward
500 places available (250 per cohort), providing access to a high-level training programme designed by IE University. Additionally, the top 15 participants from each cohort will receive a three-week Executive Leadership Programme, where they will develop key skills in management, leadership, and strategic direction.
