  • Requirements

    Eligibility Startups to apply for the Award must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:


    Startups should be legally incorporated in the Local Award country (Poland).

    The entrepreneurs applying can be resident in a different country, as long as the startup is legally incorporated in the Local Award country.


    Startups must:

    • Be innovative: must include a feasible and credible new technology, technology application, business model, service model, or process.


    Additionally, startups must fulfil at least one of the following criteria:

    • Currently marketing a product/service that does not exceed annual sales revenue of 1,200,000 zł.
    • Have raised capital between 400,000 zł and 4,000,000 zł.
    • Have between 2 and 25 full time employees.

    Santander X helps startups, micro entrepreneurs and SMEs get training and connects them with the resources they need to grow. It is a platform that aims to promote talent by creating a global network where entrepreneurs can expose their projects, connect with other members of the Santander X ecosystem and find new opportunities, collaborators and mentors to help them develop their project.

    Santander X is now opening recruitment for the first Santander X Award in Poland, thereby expanding its presence to 12 countries.


    Oxentia Foundation


    Oxentia Foundation was created to support Oxentia's goal of tackling global inequalities through innovation and entrepreneurial activities. Oxentia grew out of Oxford University's technology transfer company, and aims to provide specialised innovation management services to public and private sector customers throughout the world. Its approach is based on the company's solid legacy, built on over 30 years of experience supporting academic innovation and entrepreneurial spirit in more than 70 countries.

  • Reward

    The 3 winners of the Santander X Poland Award Startup 2023 will receive:


    - A cash award granted by Oxentia Foundation of:

    • 1st place: €10,000
    • 2nd place: €6,000
    • 3rd place: €4,000

    - Personalized mentoring, focused on the needs of each Startup, as well as assistance with pitch preparation,

    - National exposure and visibility through Santander Bank Poland channels

    - An invitation to participate in the Santander X Global Award to be held from December 2023 to early 2024, where startups will compete against winners from 8 other countries for the opportunity to receive further financial rewards and mentoring

    - 10hr with InnerValue – marketing and brand building

    - 10hr with Tarheel Capital Pathfinder – coaching and mentoring

    - 10hr with DZP law firm – help with legal issues
