  • General information

The School of Startups is an intensive entrepreneurship program designed and delivered by UPTEC – Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, with the support of Fundação Santander Portugal.

In its 14th edition, the program supports entrepreneurs in the process of validating, maturing, and funding a startup project. It is particularly suited for early-stage founders, researchers and individuals with a strong interest in launching a deep-tech venture, or seeking the first rounds of funding.

The program will help participants improve and validate the business proposal, offers mentorship, peer-learning sessions, investors pitching and exclusive UPTEC networking events. It consists of 9 in-person bootcamps with hands-on activities supported on proven methods and frameworks, pool of mentors and a final Pitching event.

Participants should apply with a business idea and individually (if you have a team, all the elements that will participate must apply, with the same business idea and name).

Up to 18 projects will be selected to participate in the program and will receive a scholarship from Santander.

All the public information is available at the Program website: schoolofstartups.org/ and all details of the sessions and calendar will be available at the program Notion page, to be shared with selected participants.
